Man, I hate dieting. Hate the word. Hate the connotations that come with it. Your diet is what you eat, not the act of restricting yourself from food. Eat good food, incorporate that into your daily regime and you will be ok.
My wife has been working out over a year. It’s working, but the weight isn’t coming off as fast as she wants. She is building muscle like a champ. Being a massage and Thai therapists is a workout in itself. So she began to grow tired my complaints of my body type. She worked out a trade with a trainer that works with her trainer. I get a once week evaluation and assessment for a therapy session for the trainer. Good deal. I spent my entire college days in a gym. A real gym. No fruit smoothies, no A/C, no classes, no merchandise, and no contract. Just loud music and banging weights! So I have the basics, but I want to be fit at 50. I have 15 months before that day arrives!
So as I have stated in past posts, I’ve taken a few products from a specific line that I won’t get into at this point, but I have started seeing a program that is making the rounds. Its called Intermittent Dieting. You eat, but you go 10-15 hours without eating. Usually missing breakfast, but supplement coffee, tea and water in the down time. I like this plan. I worked 3rd shift for almost 20 years and that was the way I ate. I found a few videos explaining it and he is a familiar face and well, looking at him its evident that it works. As with most or all programs, consult a physician if you have any existing conditions or medications.
